5 Questions For The New Year
As you prepare to begin a new year, here are 5 questions to help you know if Jesus is first in your life... #1. Is He First in Your Finances? Luke 12:34 “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” 16 out of the 38 parables deal with money. The 10th Commandment says, "Thou shall not COVET" – Materialism #2. Is He First In Your Interests? Matthew 6:33 "Seek first the kingdom of God..." You prioritize what you are committed to… Is Jesus first or is He lost in your other interests? #3. Is He First In Your Relationships? 2nd Corinthians 6:14 "Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers." Do not "flirt to convert". Don't put Christ on the back burner to try to be "cool enough" to win others to Him. #4. Is He First In Your Schedule? Psalm 63:1 "You are my God and I will seek you early in the morning" You should start your day with Jesus as that will positively effect your schedule. Read the Bible 15
